RIEIT Shree Rayeshwar Institute of Engineering and Information Technology Private was established in the year 2001, Located at Shiroda Goa and affiliated. This is an AICTE recognized institution which sits on a thirty acre land offering various engineering courses. There are 428 students enrolled in RIEIT at present and 21 faculty members and that really makes it to offer focused education. Under the 1 degree of study, the institute has 7 courses and is specialized in different fields of engineering. The student body comprises 236 male and 121 female students, reflecting a diverse gender ratio of 2:1. In terms of affordability, quality, range and delivery, RIEIT has reputable courses and facilities to match the needs of its clients.
The institute has an interesting assortment of foundational and institutional amenities as follows. Technogym boosts student physical well-being through exercise, while more than 15,000 books at the state-of-the-art central library facilitate academic work and learning, and offer access to many e-journals. Sports lovers have the opportunity to engage themselves in different activities frequently the students take part in state and university championships.
With the computer Centre of its latest architectural design having a 22 Mbps leased line students are able grab with technological advancement. A well-sized canteen provides healthy and clean food, while a grand hall with a seating of one thousand has been earmarked for cultural and extra curricula activities. Transport facilities are also available idosyncratically affiliated to the Kadamba Transport Corporation to facilitate student transport from many parts of Goa.
RIEIT provides a total of 7 full-time BE programs, covering the areas of engineering interest. The various courses offered in the institute have a total approved intake of 428 students. Although details of the graduates of the institute for the previous year are not available we have enough evidence to suggest that the institute equips students with quality education to enable them to be good engineers in the engineering discipline.
The admission process in RIEIT is partially centralized and mainly/officially dependent on Goa Common Entrance Test, GCET. This examination is a compulsory test for students interested in getting into any program in any of the numerous engineering colleges or universities. No dates for the admission are discussed, however, the interested persons are advised to visit the institute’s website frequently or should get in touch with the admission department to get a updated information on admission schedule.
Training & Placement cell is one of the prominent functionaries of RIEIT that is principally responsible for facilitating employment and Training & Skill Development Programs. The cell is already well established in campus placement; TCS, Tech- Mahindra, Persistence Systems, IBM etc. are some of the companies that always look forward to recruiting the students of RIEIT. Further, the institute provides scholarship programs where 41 out of 357 undergraduate student beneficiaries had received some form of monetary reimbursement for the fiscal year ended 2020.

Shree Rayeshwar Institute of Engineering and Information Technology (RIEIT) is a premier engineering institute located at Goa. The courses provided in engineering are varied and admission processes are somewhat centralized. The institute is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The institute is well known for its quality education in the domain of engineering.
Most of the admissions into RIEIT postgraduate programs are based on this state exam: The Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) is the examination that one has to take to join RIEIT or any other engineering school in Goa. GCET is the main deciding factor for getting into the undergraduate programs of the institute.
An aspiring student is expected to complete the 10+2 or equivalent examination successfully and include Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in his/her core subjects. Students must qualify in the GCET to be considered for admission.
Application Process
The process of admission to Shree Rayeshwar Institute of Engineering and Information Technology, Goa has many steps, namely:

3. B.E. Mechanical and Automation Engineering (60 seats)
4. B.E. Electronics and Computer Engineering (30 seats)
5. B.E. Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering

7. B.E. Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Applicants for these programs must take the GCET exam and pass the eligibility criteria mentioned above. The selection is, in general, governed by the GCET scores and availability of seats in the specific program.

College Infrastructure
32 acres campus, on the mountain, beautiful view. Still the main building is under construction but it is manageable. Has a small ground in front of the college, plus a bigger ground for cricket Or football tournaments to be held. Class ambience satisfactory.
Overall experience is good.

Shree Rayeshwar Institute of Engineering and Information Technology boasts an excellent infrastructure complemented by lush greenery, creating a refreshing environment. The presence of numerous trees allows for fresh air to permeate through the windows, enhancing the ambiance. The on-campus canteen is convenient, offering a variety of options. Speaking specifically about the Information Technology department, the faculty members are exceptionally supportive and helpful.
Good but other colleges in Goa are better!

College Infrastructure
In terms infrastructure, it's very poor. The college has no playground,hall, proper lab facilities. Classrooms are old. The canteen is also not very hygienic, tables and chairs are old and some are even broken.
