32 acres campus, on the mountain, beautiful view. Still the main building is under construction but it is manageable. Has a small ground in front of the college, plus a bigger ground for cricket Or football tournaments to be held. Class ambience satisfactory.
Like every college in India, this is different for different people. Some faculties were excellent while a few not so good. But they were friendly and helpful to their fullest if any student was facing any difficulty.
Very few people got placed from my branch, but there were people who got placed from other departments. Yes every year companies do visit the campus, but the placements mostly happens in BPO with a very few getting into technical jobs. Salary range is between 3lpa to 5lpa(max).
Well, if you consider me then, I was categorised as a TFW(Tuition Fee waiver) candidate based on my income certificate. But there were people in my college who were not satisfied at all. So atleast I was satisfied.
Shree Rayeshwar Institute of Engineering and Information Technology boasts an excellent infrastructure complemented by lush greenery, creating a refreshing environment. The presence of numerous trees allows for fresh air to permeate through the windows, enhancing the ambiance. The on-campus canteen is convenient, offering a variety of options. Speaking specifically about the Information Technology department, the faculty members are exceptionally supportive and helpful.
It sounds like you're in the newer batch of RC19-20, and you've noticed that the syllabus for Information Technology might be relatively older and perhaps less extensive compared to previous batches. Sometimes, syllabi are revised or updated over time to reflect changes in the industry, advancements in technology, or to streamline the curriculum for better comprehension. Despite the syllabus being older, it could still offer foundational knowledge that's relevant and understandable.
During times of economic recession, the job market can experience a downturn, affecting placements for college graduates across various institutions. This decline in placements is not uncommon and can impact colleges and universities as they strive to provide opportunities for their students. Within this context, it's crucial to understand the reasons behind the reduced placement rates and the strategies that can help students navigate through these challenging times.
It seems the recent fees for one semester at our college are around 60-70k, which might have increased from the previous amount of 55k per month. Typically, colleges often offer concessions or scholarships to students belonging to SC, ST, OBC categories, providing relief on tuition fees. Additionally, there might be concessions for students admitted through the management quota. These concessions aim to make education more accessible and affordable for students from diverse backgrounds.
college campus is surrounded by lush trees, letting in fresh air through the windows. It has well-equipped labs, a good library, comfortable classrooms, and a convenient on-campus canteen.
college appears to offer a refreshing and conducive environment for learning. The abundance of trees surrounding the campus allows for fresh air to flow into the classrooms. The presence of well-equipped labs, a good library, comfortable classrooms, and an on-campus canteen indicates a focus on providing essential facilities for academic and personal growth.
In terms infrastructure, it's very poor. The college has no playground, hall, proper lab facilities. Classrooms are old. The canteen is also not very hygienic, tables and chairs are old and some are even broken.
I'm a comp student currently in 2nd yr, as per my experience. This college is solely focussed on academics. The faculties are really nice and highly experienced except few who are recently joined. In terms of teaching,it's not that bad.
I would say it's average like any other tier 3 college. The companies which visit other colleges come over here too. So, the placement companies are the same in all tier 3 colleges. The average package of comp dept is 3 lakhs.
Course costs around 1lakh per year
The college doesn't organize much events. Mainly focused on academics and nothing else. No opportunities to engage in any activities.
College life here is average compared to other colleges of Goa.
