AIMT Ambala: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Shri Atmanand Jain Institute of Management and Technology, also known as AIMT Ambala, has been one of the more respected educational institutes shaping careers since 1996. This affiliated college is located in the heart of Ambala City, Haryana, and it has gained a name for itself—a centre of excellence in management and technology. The AIMT Ambala: a reputed institute committed to excellence, further certified by NAAC and approved by AICTE. It aims at excellence not just in education but also in other spheres of life. By having a modest enrolment of merely 110 students with a faculty number of ten, this institute provides an individualistic learning experience through four different types of degree courses that are professional in the fields of Management and Computer Applications.

The campus offers a gamut of facilities, with the library being the academic heart of the campus, which has 9,000 books and 3,000 titles that cover a wide array of subjects from management to computer science. Together, students have access to 74 national and international journals, periodicals, and newspapers, hence a very nice academic work environment. With over 160 networked terminals with a backup of a dedicated 4 Mbps internet connection, it keeps its students abreast of the technology. The Institute offers separate hostel facilities for boys and girls requiring accommodation. AIMT aims to provide a comfortable "home away from home" experience with modern amenities. It does have an aesthetically made auditorium, a conference room with audiovisual aids, and a welcoming cafeteria for students to sit back and have fun with friends.

AIMT Ambala offers four full-time courses in undergraduate and postgraduate studies. The program portfolio of the institute encompasses MBA, MCA, BBA, and BCA. In total, there are an admitted number of 240 students in all courses.

The admission procedure at AIMT Ambala is conceived as being most meritorious and transparent based on the guidelines of Kurukshetra University and Haryana State Technical Education Society. Admission will be subject to MAT Scores followed by the online Off-Campus counselling held by HSTES, Panchkula for MBA. MCA admissions will again be through the entrance examination of OLET-MCA, and counselling will follow. For the UG programs under BBA and BCA, admission is solely through merit obtained by the applicants according to Kurukshetra University.
