Recognized as the oldest member of the education fraternity, the Shri Atmanand Jain Institute of Management and Technology (AIMT) at Ambala has been grooming minds. It is located centrally in Ambala City, Haryana, where it has made a niche for itself in the area of management and technology education. AIMT Ambala has both NAAC accreditation and AICTE approval while offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Application forms will be for MAT undertake MBA admission. The MAT occurs on several occasions in a given year, with application forms usually closing by the 1st of March for the February session. Consequently, relevant MAT scores will be sent to the candidates, who will then register and participate in online off-campus counseling organized by HSTES, Panchkula.
For MCA, OLET -MCA shall serve as the entry test for successful admission. The process will then continue through counseling. Admissions into the undergraduate courses (BBA and BCA) shall consider the merit predetermined by the applicants according to the directives set down by Kurukshetra University. The time schedules of these admissions are typically strict, adhering to the academic calendar of Kurukshetra University. Applicants are, therefore, requested to update themselves on the application dates, examination dates, counseling schedules, etc., from time to time visiting the official websites of AIMT Ambala, Kurukshetra University, and HSTES.

Degree wise Admission Process
BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications): The total number of seats approved for the BCA program at AIMT Ambala is 90. The admissions to the BCA course will be on a merit basis in accordance with the procedure and instructions of Kurukshetra University (KUK). The university lays down minimum eligibility; on that basis, candidates fulfilling those criteria will be considered for merit-based admission.
MBA (Master of Business Administration): 60 seats are allocated to the MBA program of AIMT Ambala. Entry to MBA is granted on the basis of MAT (Management Aptitude Test). Candidates qualifying the MAT are to take admission at the "Online Off-Campus Counseling" conducted at HSTES, Government of Haryana. Selection is done through this counseling base on the candidate's MAT score and other related factors.
BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) : Sitting at 60, the BBA programme has an intake of around 60 students. Just like BCA, admissions to BBA are also secured entirely on the basis of merit and strictly follow the procedures and guidelines of Kurukshetra University. Merit for selection will be determined only from the candidate's performance in his or her qualifying examination.
MCA (Master of Computer Applications): For MCA, AIMT Ambala has 30 seats. MCA admission criteria is on the rank obtained in the OLET-MCA entrance examination. Candidates must qualify for the OLET-MCA examination and take part in the Online Off-Campus Counseling by HSTES. On this basis, recommendations for admission will be made based on performance on the OLET-MCA examination and online Off-campus counseling.
