Master of Science in Statistics is a full-time two-year postgraduate course and it is offered by the Mangalore University, Mangalore.


Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should have passed in B Sc examination of Mangalore University or equivalent with Statistics and Mathematics provided they have studied at least one of them as a Major/Optional/Special subject and the other as a Minor/Subsidiary subject and have secured a minimum of 45%(40% for SC/ST/Category – I candidates) marks in Statistics and Mathematics. If the candidates with Statistics as Major/Optional/ Subsidiary/ Special subject are not available, then the graduates with Mathematics as an Optional/Major/Special subject may also be considered for the programme, provided they have secured a minimum of 45% (40% for SC/ST/category – I candidates) marks in Mathematics.
