Dheemanth hostel for boys is a well-furnished accommodation facility with 44 (2 bedded), 11 (3 bedded) and 74 (4 bedded) rooms accommodating a total of about 400 students.

Dheemahi hostel for girls consists of 44 (2 bedded), 12 (3 bedded) rooms and 74 (4 bedded) rooms accommodating a total of about 400 students. Dheemanth and Dheemahi hostels have a common dining hall ‘Divyanna’ and facilities such as sports, multi gym, health care, and Wi-Fi. Aesthetically built campus, spacious rooms, healthy and hygienic food at nominal fees make the hostels the second home for the students.

The multigym consists of various standard types of equipment like treadmill, cycle, inclined bar, etc. It is specially constructed with the view to maintain the fitness of the sports candidates. It is freely available for all the students and staff.

The library is always considered as the real ‘powerhouse’ of any educational institution. The Library is having a spacious building of total 1102 sq.meters area with proper lighting and ventilation. The College has a spacious library with more than 1,05,693 books and non-book collections. A unique possession of the College is Ha MaNa Research Centre having 28,158 books donated by the well known literary personality of Karnataka Late Sri Ha. Ma. Nayak. The College library subscribes more than 190 periodicals, magazines, and journals. It is provided with an e-learning resource center too. It has a separate reading hall for girls, boys, and lecturers. There is a stack section, a periodical section, a reference section, circulation section, C section, etc with all basic facilities. The seating capacity of the library is 400. For the purpose of developing and upgrading the library activities. The library has constituted a special committee called the Learning Resource Committee. Timings: The library will be kept open from 8.30 A.M. to 8.00 P.M. on all working days from Monday to Friday, Weekend timings Saturday 8.30 A.M. to 4.00 P.M. Sunday: 10.am to 5.00 PM.

SDM education trust runs a Sports club to provide free education to the students excelling in sports. This is an initiative by the management to provide encouragement to the students to pursue their passion for sports. It is a consortium of Physical Directors who provide guidance to the students in a balance between sports and academics. Indoor stadium- Indraprastha auditorium is a unique, pillar-less dome structured indoor stadium. Most of the big curricular and extracurricular activities of the college are held here, The auditorium has a seating capacity of 3000. The wooden courts for shuttle badminton and table tennis are of high quality and frequently state and national level tournaments are conducted. The stage of 50X30 size and spacious green rooms cater to the needs of big troupes of performers. Outdoor stadium- Sri D Rathnavarma Heggade stadium is a vast outdoor stadium, which can accommodate over 3000 members in a sheltered space. The stadium has a 400m track with 8 lanes. A separate weightlifting hall, multi-facility gym and a staff room. It has hosted several meets, tournaments of the university, state, and national importance. Some of them are: a Celebrity cricket match, 10 University meets, 3 State level events in football, netball, and tennis, South India interuniversity athletic meet, All India Men and women volleyball tournaments, Vishwa Tulu Sammelana. The stadium has separate courts for long jump, high jump, shot put, javelin throw, discus throw.

The College has a well-connected multi-facility center situated at a very convenient space and is easily accessible for all the students. The facility has 75 computers, all of which are equipped with high-speed internet. Scanning and printing facilities are also made available to the students. Each student is provided an ID and password to browse the internet at a subsidized rate.

The cafeteria is one of its kind in architecture, ambiance, space and facilities serve healthy and hygienic vegetarian food at a subsidized rate. The advanced technology used in roofing and interiors has caught the sight of many. A self-service system is adapted for user convenience.

Two well equipped and air-conditioned Auditorium and Seminar Hall provide easily accessible platforms for students to showcase their talents through various activities, presentations, and talks. Located in different blocks of the building, they present a kaleidoscopic view of various activities organized in SDMC for students at all levels. The seminar halls with modern furnishings and acoustics have been provided to conduct a paper presentation, workshops, and debates, intercollegiate competitions, and guest lectures.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The swimming pool of the college is of international standards measuring 50X25 m accommodating 10 lanes. The students are trained in various styles of swimming for a nominal fee. Several swimming competitions are regularly conducted here.

For the convenience of the students and faculty banking facility is available within the campus. Vijaya Bank Branch ATM is also provided for service access round the clock. The placement of the bank facilities in the premises makes cash transactions safe for the students. A fully functional post office branch is also situated in the campus.

The College has a customized co-operative store that meets the stationary requirements of the students for a competitive price. It is open in accordance with the college timings. This keeps the students within the campus even during emergency necessities. The stationary store also includes a small portion of food, healthcare materials, and decorative materials. A portion of interest money earned is donated to the Mid Day Meal scheme of the college and study scholarships.

Siddhavana Gurukula is a unique styled and free hostel for students excelling in academics and sports. It was established in 1940, and has accomplished 75 years of effective fostering of selected meritorious students of SDM. With a capacity of about 250, the fully furnished hostel functions in the ancient Gurukula model.

This hostel functions under the Gandhian concept of learning and the students attend philosophy and Bhagvadgeeta classes every day. Their schedule extends from 5.30 AM to 10.30 PM.

It has a farm and a dairy managed entirely by the resident students. The diet plan here is very complimentary to maintain good health. The wards enjoy the benefits of a plethora of training initiatives for their overall development of personality. Siddhavana has a long-standing reputation for being the apt place for fostering well disciplined students.

A total of 67 class rooms, 63 of which are Wi-Fi enabled and 50 of which have LCD’s , 3 with Televisions, and 10 with portable LCD’s. There are audio visual rooms as value additions to the same. Halls are equipped with a white board, projector and a room PC or input for laptop connection. The lecture theaters are more spacious than classrooms, with advanced range of AV equipment. Special meeting rooms are also available with user guides located near or on the lecterns along with video conference facilities for live communication with resource persons at distant locations. Administration as well as teaching has been simplified to a greater extent with valuable facilities allowing optimization of work with faster decision making and execution. These AV methods and infrastructure are ideally suited for applications such as distance learning, remote medical diagnosis, on demand project collaboration and more.

The language booth is an open platform that can seat up to 40 students at a time, who can access language efficiency related content playing on video at any point of time. The language lab is a lab that resembles science labs, with 36 systems and a trainer who shall facilitate acquiring of language skills. Phonetics, tones and grammatical aspects of English language are explained, students are given exercises and opportunities to enhance their language free of cost
