Shri Madhavrao Patil Mahavidyalaya, Murum was established in 1991 and it is an affiliated college located in Osmanabad, Maharashtra. Major undergraduate programmes are BA with a total of 1,320 seats, B.Sc with 720 seats, B.Com with 420 seats, and B.Sc Computer Science with 180 seats on self-financing basis. The college also has postgraduate MA programmes in Hindi, Marathi, Political Science, and Sociology that can accommodate 120 students in all of them together. Science stream is further valued by the M.Sc programmes in Physics and Chemistry that can accommodate 60 students each.
