Shri Samarth Arts and Commerce College, Ashti is designed to select deserving candidates for its undergraduate programs.
The college generally conducts its admissions in the academic year during June-July. Merit-based selection happens to be the primary criterion of admission to all courses at Shri Samarth Arts and Commerce College. This means that candidates are selected based on their performance in the qualifying examinations that usually comprise the 12th standard or an equivalent degree.
The eligibility criteria for BA and B. Com programmes is that candidates should have completed their 10+2 from a recognized board.

B.A. (Bachelor of Arts): The B.A. program offered at Shri Samarth Arts and Commerce College is a three-year full-time undergraduate course. Admission to the B.A. program is strictly merit-based, and admission will be strictly on the basis of the marks secured by the applicants in the 12th standard or equivalent examination. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the overall percentage secured by the applicants in the qualifying examinations. The arts students like languages, social sciences, and humanities are accepted into this course.
B. Com or Bachelor of Commerce: B.Com is another three-year undergraduate course. Admission into B. Com is purely on the merit of a student who will be evaluated for academic excellence in his or her 12th standard. Here also, emphasis will be on those who have had commerce in 12th standard. The college prepares a merit list based on the marks obtained by the applicants in their qualifying examinations. This program is ideal for students looking to build a career in finance, accounting, and business-related fields.
The college faculty members are good. The staff is nice and supportive. The college syllabus is old and designed by the University which is good but doesn't make one industry ready. To be industry ready students have to do extra courses.
Apart from the infrastructure the best part about the college is teaching and non teaching staff. Both of them are helpful and understanding. The only issue lies with the attendance. But overall education and allied facilities are good enough.
