According to IIT Delhi placement season 2024-25, 1200 job offers were made including pre-placement offers. 50+ international offers were made from 15+ prestigious organisations across the globe including Japan, Netherlands, South Korea, Taiwan, UAE, United Kingdom, and United States. 1150 students were placed during IIT Delhi placements 2024.

During phase 1 of IIT Delhi placements 2023-24, students have received around 1050 job offers, including pre-placement offers (PPOs). 20 international organisations made 50+ international offers for students at IIT Delhi. Some of the top recruiters of IIT Delhi placements 2024 are Air India, Microsoft, Texas Instruments, Goldman Sachs, Bajaj Auto, and Ola Electric. 370+ organisations across sectors offering 700-plus job profiles have registered to hire IIT Delhi students. The number of IIT Delhi placement offers have been increased by 20% from 2023. Over 50 students received a domestic IIT Delhi highest salary package of more than Rs 1 Cr per annum during the IIT Delhi placements drive 2023. Indian Institute of Technology Delhi offers placements for all levels of students. The IIT Delhi has a separate placement cell which conducts the final placement activities on campus.

NIRF 2025 report of IIT Delhi has been released. 711 UG 4-year students and 99 UG 5-year students were placed during IIT Delhi Placements 2024. Median salary package offered to UG 4-year students is Rs 19.08 LPA and IIT Delhi median package of UG 5-year students is Rs 24.30 LPA. 627 PG students were placed during IIT Delhi Placements 2023-24 with median package of Rs 18.82 LPA. According to the IIT Delhi NIRF 2024, 676 UG (4-year) students, 92 UG (5-year) students and 432 PG students were placed in the IIT Delhi placement cell. IIT Delhi median salary package for B.Tech students stood at Rs 20.00 lakhs. B.Tech M.Tech students were placed with IIT Delhi average salary package of Rs 22.00 lakhs during IIT Delhi placements. Chances of Admission at IIT Delhi :

1. Highly Competitive Branches (Less Likely)

Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)

Electrical Engineering (EE)

Mathematics and Computing (MNC)

Mechanical Engineering (ME)

These branches usually close within OBC-NCL ranks 500-1500, so securing them might be difficult.

2. Moderate Chances (Borderline)
