Shri Shivaji Shikshan Prasarak Mandal's Polytechnic, Barshi, is offering diploma courses in various engineering disciplines. Degree wise Admission Process

Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering: This is an annual course with 30 seats. Candidates requiring this diploma must have an excellent background in Mathematics and Physics from 10th standard studies. The admission process may be based on marks in these subjects or performance in an entrance exam relevant to the course.

Diploma in Civil Engineering: This course is for those students who are interested in infrastructure and construction. The intake capacity of this course is 30. Eligibility for such a course is usually good grades in Mathematics and Science in the 10th standard. The selection can be done through an entrance test or evaluation of the academic performance in relevant subjects.

Diploma in Computer Engineering: This program will also accommodate 30 students every year. Students with an aptitude for computer science along with mathematical skills stand a chance. Admission is based on logical reasoning through aptitude tests and basic computer knowledge, apart from academic performance.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: This course has an intake of 30. It is suitable for one who is interested in design and manufacturing of machines. The candidates from the 10th standard with good marks in Mathematics and Science would be preferred. Admission might be through entrance test or evaluation of marks in Mathematics and Science.
