Shri Shivaji Vidya Prasarak Sanstha’s Bapusaheb Shivajirao Deore Polytechnic is one of the reputed Institute located in Dhule, Maharashtra and was established in 1983. This affiliated college approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) presents diploma programmes in three most important branches of engineering only. Shri Shivaji Vidya Prasarak Sanstha’s Bapusaheb Shivajirao Deore Polytechnic has state of art infrastructure boasted of modern tools and infrastructure aimed at facilitating learning of the students. The library established as a focal point of the academic sources contains more than thirty five thousand books, seventy national and nineteen international journals, a vast number of I.S. codes and a video library. The library has available to students a reading room that can occupy one hundred and fifty people, and the open round-the-clock reading hall. The campus has wireless internet connection so as to connect students to the internet throughout the compound. For the residential students, the institute has separate hostels for boys and girls, with over 150 accommodations in each and with attached mess facilities which serve hygienic food at very reasonable prices. The polytechnic also provides well equipped laboratories, cafeteria, store and sporting accommodation to support students requirements.

There are three diploma courses offered at Bapusaheb Shivajirao Deore Polytechnic under the banner of Shri Shivaji Vidya Prasarak Sanstha this each course is of three years duration. It deals with three courses out of the above mentioned faculties which are Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. These courses offer a total approved intake of 180 students though each course has its own 60 seat quota. This focused approach enables the polytechnic to deliver high quality education in these fundamental fields of engineering.
