Shri Siddheshwar Women’s Polytechnic was established in 2009. SSWP Institute has been offering three-year full-time diploma courses since 2009. SSWP is a Linguistic Minority (Kannada) institution. The SSWP Solapur College is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in New Delhi and the Government of Maharashtra. Shri Siddheshwar Women’s Polytechnic Solapur is affiliated with the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) Mumbai.

SSWP Solapur diploma courses include Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Telecom. Engineering, and Information Technology. SSWP Solapur courses are offered in full-time mode only. SSWP facilities include libraries, Transportation, Canteen, Internet, Parking, Sports, and other activities. 

These are open to both students and faculty members. In SSWP Solapur the Study rooms and Reading Halls are also available. The SSWP Solapur placement cell serves the purpose of assisting students in attaining placements. Students are prepared for job markets through effective training programmes based on communication skills and personality development.
