NMCCE campus has a single big building without any green area but the interior is very nice. The place has a vibrant environment for students. The building is fully air-conditioned and always remain clean. There are seminar halls, spacious study room, sports room and all classrooms has projectors with good WiFi connection. Canteen facilities are perfect and offers only veg food. The college library is small and has good collection of academic course related books only.
I am doing bachelors in accounting and finance (B.A.F) which is more of Accounting and little of finance. It seems a good course for students having interest in accounting and keen to learn taxation. The curriculum is updated but provides no practical knowledge hence doesn't makes anyone job ready.
The training and placement cell of NM college is very active and shares various internship opportunities to students. Many companies, firms including top accounting firms comes to college placement. Currently I have finished my second year so I have only heard from seniors about job package but what I know is Morgan Stanley and EY selected students for summer internship program this year only. All opportunities and processes required gets easily available by T&P cell.
B.A.F course fee is around 39k and it is worth because of the infrastructure, high qualified teachers and overall personality development the college provides.
The college is in Santa Cruz, west. The area is good & near to local railway station and easy transport system in city. The best think about college is its interior and teachers. There are various student committees and events, fests are organized annually. Worst thing about college is it doesn't has garden or any social space except canteen. Students are from different cities, providing a mixed culture environment. The building is well secured and support staff is well trained for emergencies.
Well equipped air conditioned classroom, big library, canteen, smart boards and other tools which help in learning get better.clean and hygienic environment for academic as well non academic activities.
I am studying bcom. Having 6 semester. All faculty is Highly qualified with extravagant knowledge about facts outside the material provided as well. Quality education is provided. All the subject are well designed with aim of giving more and more knowledge.
The placement are pretty good. The average salary is 3-4 lakhs and highest package is 8 lakhs. Internal students placement cell with major companies being big 4 -Deloitte ,KPMG,PWC,EY. The placement process is good
10/10
Well equipped air conditioned classrooms, canteen, two-storeyed library, multicultural IT Lab.Smart boards and other technically well equipped tools helps learning get better.Clean and hygienic environment for academic as well as non-academic activities.
We had a 6 semester pattern with 100 marks written paper for each subject. The faculties are highly qualified with extravagant knowledge about facts outside the material provided as well. Practical knowledge imbibed here is worth the experience for a practical based learning.
Internal student placement cell with major companies being big 4 - Deloitte, KPMG, PWC and EY.The average salary is 3-4 lacs and the highest package is of 8 lacs. The placement process is good as the quality of students is amazing.
10/10. Totally worth every penny. My course costs around 6K per year which is very cheap and the facilities are too good for that amount.
It's not a huge campus but the events which happen here are great. Especially the inter collegiate fest - Umang which is Asia's largest growing intercollegiate fest. People come up in large numbers with celebs on board. The NM canteen is quite famous for its amazing delicacies. It's a chilled out campus life.
One of the best infrastructures in mumbai. Clean and hygienic environment for academic as well as non-academic activities. Smart boards and other technically well equipped tools helps learning get better
The faculty is highly qualified with extravagant knowledge about facts outside the material provided as well. Practical knowledge imbibed here is worth the experience for a practical base learning. Hands down one of the best faculties in mumbai for bcom course
Placement cells make us really competitively trained to be able to crack interviews of some of the big names. Challenging but fun is how I would describe it. A vast amount of practical happenings in the outside world is what helps crack those big GD rounds and panel discussions.
Totally worth the cost. Infact its the best source of knowledge for a very minimum cost as compared to other colleges
Location is safe and it is a posh area kind of. Teachers and staff are very kind and co-operative but can get tough if rules are broken.
The infrastructure is the best you can get. It has the top notch facilities and all classrooms are clean and air conditioned. The girls washroom has 7 MIRRORS! We are taught through smart boards. The library is really spacious and their is Wi-Fi facility as well.
I am studying B.Com as it is a very versatile course. I do believe the Mumbai University curriculum should be more updated but the teachers are all PHDs and they have great skills. The college is turning autonomous next year and will have a much better curriculum.
The placements are pretty good. The average salary is 3-4 lacs and the highest package is of 8 lacs. The placement process is good as the quality of students is amazing. We have all the big four companies and international banks for placements.
It is EXTREMELY worth it. My course costs around 6K per year which is very cheap and the facilities are too good for that amount. The college building has great staff and facilities and I believe it is because of the great quality if students.
N.M. college has the best campus life ever. There are so many events and committees and the best part about the college life is our fest UMANG. One willmake so many great friends and memories at their life in NM.
I think there is no better place to study for a college student than NM. I highly reccomend this college to anyone who wants an amazing college life. But getting into NM is not easy. You need a very good score in 10th/12th grade to get into this amazin institution
Hi Vartika
The answer to you question if you ask in simple words is NO. You can not take transfer in second year from one university to another, you will have to reappear for admission test and procedures and start all again if from first year if you really want to change your university. However, if you want to change your course and study in your same university then it may happen but it is very very difficult rather I would say it is almost impossible, you can request your university management if they would consider your demand to change your course (which they are most likely to refuse) only then something can happen . You can not go to any other university just by getting transferred in second year.
I hope this answer resolved your query.
Narsee Monjee , Christ and Symbiosis are some of the best colleges in the country . Studing in these colleges in one of the best opportunities that you can get . The fees is hefty though, as compared to other colleges. I would suggest you to take admission in Du colleges which are the top most collegees for economics. However these colleges also have good environment , opportunities and peer group.
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing absolutely great.
So, with regard to your query, the fee structure for BSc economics in Narsee Monjee College is INR 67.93k per three years. However, this is only the tuition fee, the hostel fee is again different., it depends upon the accommodation you choose.
Hope this helps you,
Thank you.
