The college offers MBBS students at the undergraduate level. Candidates who have qualified for NEET and are included in the Assam NEET-UG merit list 2024 will be eligible to participate in the Assam NEET counselling 2024 session for admission under 85% of state quota seats.

SMC Silchar MBBS Admission Process 

• The candidate must meet the SMC Silchar MBBS eligibility criteria. 

• Candidates who have qualified for  SMC Silchar, NEET-UG  are included in the Assam NEET merit list 2024 and will be eligible to participate in the UP NEET counselling 2024. 

• The Assam MBBS 2024 counselling will be done online in two rounds.

• The NEET 2024 exam is a prerequisite for students to be considered for DME Assam MBBS counselling.

• The DME of Assam will publish a merit list containing the selected candidates' names based on their NEET 2024 scores. Candidates whose names appear on the list will be eligible for counselling.

• Before the late date, eligible candidates must submit the Assam MBBS application form 2024.

• The candidate needs to score at or above the SMC Silchar NEET UG cutoff to be admitted to UG programmes.

The college offers admission to postgraduate programmes like MD and MS in multiple specialisations. SMC Silchar  PG courses are three-year full-time courses.

• The candidate must meet the SMC Silchar MD & MS eligibility criteria.

• Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Assam, conducts the  NEET PG counselling for admission to  MD/MS. 

• Seats are offered 50% of the state quota and the remaining 50% of seats are reserved for the All India Quota.

• During the Assam  NEET-PG  2024 counselling seat allotment, candidates are required to fill in their preference of colleges in which they wish to get. In that choice-filling session, candidates can select as many numbers of colleges as they want for the Assam  MD/MS allotment process.
