This college is New that's why infrastructure is not really good. There is lack of lab facilities and lack of faculty members also.It will take time to make proper infrastructure. Annual Sports is such a joyful event in this college.
If you want to study geology, this college should be your last option in the priority list.Classes are very irregular. The professors try their best to help you but which is not enough for you because there is only two faculty members .
Here you do not get any placement. This is a bachelors degree college and the results of the student is average. You can never get On campus job here. If you prepare by yourself this is the only way to get a job.
This is a govt. College and that's why course cost is less compare to others institutions. College Fees is 1k to 2k per year.
You can only get a so called college life here.
Speaking of our subject...faculty and lab facilities are pretty good. Geology being a subject where you get to learn a lot outdoors...field curriculums may need a little more development. The students to faculty ratio being small makes interactions with teachers easier. The teachers individually care for the students and usually doubts don't remain unanswered.
I am studying geology honours...the quality of teaching is overall good...for some paper they are excellent. The faculty and labs are good...field training may have some place for improvement. Hopefully it will be fixed later on as the college will grow.
Its a new college...none the people I know who have passed out yet are placed in jobs right now since they probably haven't completed their education yet. This criteria doesn't apply to this college presently.
The college still has certain shortcomings, hopefully it'll be fixed over time. Finally, for a college which is 5 years old...till now its pretty good.
