SJPN Trust's Hirasugar Institute of Technology is a co-ed affiliated college offering courses in the disciplines of engineering. Hirasugar Institute of Technology is an AICTE-approved university, established in 1996. HIT Belagaum offers Bachelor of Engineering undergraduate courses and Ph.D doctoral programmes to students.
Admissions in HIT Belgaum are based on the merit of entrance exams and qualifying exams. Prospective students of B.E. must appear for JEE Main, COMEDK UGET or KCET. The Training and Placement Cell of HIT Belgaum hosts placement drives for graduating students in the last week of July in the year of commencement, up to March. Training is provided to students for the advancement of technical and life skills.

According to the alumni reviews and many other statistics,the placements offered to the students of the SJPN trust had increased a lot during the last few years and the placements for the bachelor of engineering Computer science had increased even more when compared to the other branches.The average package was just around 3-4 lakh and the reacent years it has increased by 25 percentage according to the analysis.Hope you have understood.Thank You.
