BE Electrical and Electronics Engineering at SJPN Trust's Hirasugar Institute of Technology, Belgaum Offline Course

To be eligible for admission to the first year of the BE course the students shall have passed the two years Pre-University Examination (Science) conducted by the Karnataka State Pre-University Board.

OR

Pass in all subjects of the final Examination of the 10+2 years course of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) with Physics, Chemistry and mathematics as optional subjects and English as a subject of study.

OR

Any other examination recognized by the University as equivalent thereto.

AND

Lateral Entry 
The applicant should have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC /12th Std OR equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry /Bio-Technology /Biology as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects irrespective of the marks obtained in the Common Entrance Test. In the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes (category-1,2A,2B,3A, and 3B), the minimum marks for the purpose of eligibility is 40% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects in the qualifying examination

The holders of the three-year Diploma granted/awarded by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka, or of any other Diploma qualification considered equivalent thereto are eligible only through CET allotment for admission to III semesters/2nd year of B.E. / B. Tech. in appropriate branch of Engineering /Technology. Such a candidate shall have to clear prescribed bridge courses. The minimum qualifying mark for admission is 45% in the final examination of the 3-year Diploma course.
