The basic educational qualifications required are B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing and for all those who pursue master's courses M.Sc Nursing generally needs a B.Sc nursing graduation degree. Usually, a science-based 10+2 course is the essential educational requirement, though academic records are given more importance while admissions for these college courses, though in some colleges, entrance tests also precede admissions.

Procedure to apply for SLES College of Nursing, Chintamani:

Degree-wise Admission Process:
B.Sc Nursing: SLES College of Nursing has an intake of 50 seats in the B.Sc Nursing course. The merit in 10+2 science subjects, that is, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry, are considered for admission. In some institutions, colleges also take nursing entrance exams.
Post Basic B. Sc. Nursing The post-Basic B. Sc. nursing offers 30 seats to the registered nurse looking to have the enhancement in the qualifications. Students have to acquire GNM certificate or any higher education from this, with proper valid registration nursing certificates.
M.Sc Nursing - The SLES College of Nursing offers M.Sc Nursing with 25 seats spread over five specializations. The specializations include Psychiatric Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Paediatric Nursing, and Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing. All five specializations have 5 seats each. It is usually based on the performance of the candidate in B.Sc Nursing degree. Entry may also require an entrance exam and interview.
