Nitte University Centre for Science Education and Research, Mangalore Admission Process

NITTE University, Mangalore offers admission to diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate courses in multiple specialisations. NITTE University Mangalore admissions are merit-based as well as entrance-based. Candidates are offered admission to diploma courses based on their performance in the last qualifying exam. NITTE University Mangalore admission to MBBS and BDS programmes is done on the basis of NEET UG.

Candidates have been admitted to the NITTE University B.Arch programme through a valid score in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). For admission to remaining UG courses, candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in the merit in the qualifying exam. NITTE University admission to B.Tech, M.Tech and MCA is done through the NUCAT (Nitte University Common Admission Test) conducted by NITTE University. NITTE Mangalore admission to PhD is done based on candidates’ performance in the Written Entrance Test and interview conducted by the university. NITTE University, Mangalore offers admission to various undergraduate courses in different disciplines. BDS	Passed class 12th with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology and English as one of the languages of study. + Valid score in NEET UG.
BArch	Passed class 12th with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also 50% marks in aggregate of the 12th standard exam. Or Passed Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject, with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Valid score in NATA.
PharmD	Passed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology, with English as one of the languages of study or a Pass in DPharm from an institution approved by the PCI under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.

BPharm	Passed class 12th with not less than 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics with English as one of the languages of study.

BA (Hons) Media & Communication	Passed class 12th with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and English as one of the languages of study.
BSc (Hons) Hospitality Management	Passed Pre-University exam in any general or vocational stream conducted by the Pre-University Education Board in Karnataka or any other Board considered equivalent.
BSc (Hons) Culinary Arts & Management	Passed Class 12 in any discipline with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate and English as one of the languages of study.

NITTE University UG Admission Process

Candidates willing to take admissions must satisfy the NITTE University UG eligibility criteria.
Appear and qualify for the necessary entrance exam depending upon the desired course.
Fill out and submit the online NITTE University application form.
Candidates must select NITTE University as their preferred college in counselling.
Seats will be allotted to candidates based on the choices filled, seat availability, merit ranks, and reservation category.

Academics

The Bsc. Honors Biomedical Science covers a vast area of biomedical research. It covers most of the life science subjects including microbiology, biochemistry, toxicology, virology etc. The curriculum can be made better and it recently planned on extending there course duration to 4 years.

A good experience for a future career.

This is an honors course in Biomedical Science. The 'honors' title increases the value of the degree considerably, especially if you want to apply abroad for further studies or a job. The curriculum comprises of a wide range of subjects right from inorganic chemistry to cancer biology.
