SLN Medical College and Hospital, Koraput, was came in existence in the year of 2017 located inJaniguda, Koraput, Odisha. This is a co-educational college that is an NMC recognised affiliated college which proves the college’s quality intention in medical education. SLN Medical College and Hospital will have 84 dedicated professionals in faculty that will help to provide the best medical education to the young generation doctors. The college provides only one course, which is the five and half years programme of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) for 125 students every year.

SLN Medical College and Hospital has facilities that are accessible to students to improve the learning environment and health of its learners. A neat and well equipped centre with first aid facilities is always desirable to have a first aid kit in case of an emergency. As such, the library acts as a medical information centre where students can access most of the medical related materials. To meet the need for exercise and to maintain a balance between work and recreation the college has available sporting amenities for individuals interested in sports related activities. Tech growth also has pride of place with a good IT platform developed in the institution though students can also follow up on any advancement made in medical science on their own. A cafeteria is used to provide students and staff with meals, necessary for their healthy everyday functioning, an auditorium is used for educational performances and seminars, thereby contributing to the lively activity of students.

SLN Medical College and Hospital has only provision for its MBBS programme which is a full time programme of six years duration. They are intensive programmes intended to produce competent health care professionals with knowledge and skills in the align area of medicine. Out of the total intake of 200 students the college has admitted 125 students only in MBBS so as to maintain an accurate student-teacher ratio for effective teaching and interaction.

Prospective students must have passed NEET-UG exam which is the only entrance examination recognised for the college to admit students to the MBBS course.
