Smt AKD Sakkaniammal College of Education for Women, Virudhunagar Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has more than 4,000 books are available in the Library, and about 20 periodicals, in addition to journals, on various topics and 3 newspapers, are regularly subscribed to. The Library has a Reference Section with Encyclopaedia, books on General Knowledge etc. In order to enrich the Library, every year a number of valuable books on varied topics of study and interest are purchased on recommendation of teachers. 

The college has a separate Physical Science laboratory and Biological laboratory. Both laboratories are fully equipped with experimental apparatus  

The college has a newly-renovated state-of-the-art computer laboratory with Internet connection facilities. The laboratory has personal computers with the latest configurations especially for use by the students. The laboratory is also equipped with Scanning and Printing facilities. The laboratory is looked after by a qualified teaching assistant who also provides technical support

The college has Play ground with 2 acres consisting of courts like Kho-Kho, Volleyball, etc. A Physical Education Director is in charge of sports activities.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.
