Admission Process

Smt. Padambai Kapurchandji Kotecha Mahila Mahavidyalaya Bhusawal (SPKKMM) is a repute women's college located in the city of Bhusawal, Maharashtra. This approach ensures equal opportunity for all qualified candidates while maintaining the standards set by the governing bodies. The college emphasizes inclusivity and adheres to reservation policies as mandated by the Government of Maharashtra. The eligibility criteria differ for the course. Undergraduate courses are eligible for the students who have passed their 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized board. Applicants for postgraduate courses should hold a bachelor's degree in the concerned discipline from a recognized university. Some courses will have specific combinations of subjects and minimum percentage required.

Application Process 

Application for Smt. Padambai Kapurchandji Kotecha Mahila Mahavidyalaya Bhusawal is little different with respect to each program, but most follow the same process:

1. Admissions Notice: The college puts out an advertisement stating the beginning of the admission process in various ways such as through its website and local newspapers.

2. Application Form: Application form can be availed from the college office or downloaded from the website if one exists there.

3. No. of Documents Submitted: All documents pertinent to the application should accompany the application form. Generally, these are:

  • Qualifying examination marksheets such as 10th, 12th or graduation as the case may be
  • School/College leaving certificate

5. Merit List: If the admission process is 'first come first served', then the seats will be provided strictly in the sequence of the application and eligibility criteria fulfilled. For BCA and M.Sc., merit lists can be prepared based on entrance examination and Central Assessment Process.

6. Document Verification: The shortlisted candidates have to bring the original documents to the college for verification.

7. Fee Payment: After successful verification, candidates have to pay the fees as demanded by the college to get admission.

8. Orientation: Students who get admitted are often asked to attend an orientation program where they get familiar with the rules of the college, its facilities, and the academic expectations.

The college follows strictly, all reservation policies of the Government of Maharashtra as regards reservation criteria, thus the students represent society at all quotas provided for such reservation.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.A. English, Marathi, Hindi, Economics, and Political Science As per the NMU Jalgaon rules strictly following the Government of Maharashtra and the UGC admissions are made on the first-come, first served basis. Whoever has passed in 12 standard with the mentioned subjects is liable to apply.

B.Com: The B.Com program follows the same admission procedure as the B.A. programs. Admissions are granted on a first-come, first-served basis, adhering to the guidelines of the governing bodies. Students with a commerce background in their 12th standard are typically preferred.

B.Sc. (Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Botany, Physics): The admissions for the B.Sc. programs are on a first-come, first-served basis. The candidates should have completed 12th standard with science subjects. Subject combinations may vary depending on the specializations.

BCA: The admission to the undergraduate program of BCA is done through a Centralized Entrance Examination conducted by NMU Jalgaon. The admission process strictly follows the norms set by the Government of Maharashtra and NMU Jalgaon.

M.A. (Hindi, English): Admission to the M.A. program is granted on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the rules laid down by the Government of Maharashtra, UGC, and NMU Jalgaon. Applicants must have graduated in the subject concerned or a related field from any recognized University.

M.Com: The admission procedure for M.Com is exactly the same as for other postgraduate courses. The admissions are done on a first-come first-serve basis strictly according to the governing bodies' rules and regulations. Admission is open to candidates who have completed B.Com.

M.Sc. (Computer Science, Organic Chemistry): M.Sc. admissions are conducted through a Central Assessment Process of NMU Jalgaon. For admissions, the college strictly follows the norms of the Government of Maharashtra and NMU Jalgaon. Necessary Qualification: Candidates are required to hold a bachelor's degree in the relevant science discipline.
