SN Mudbidri Polytechnic, Moodbidri Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

Two boys' hostels named Dr. TMA Pai Boys Hostel and S D Samrajya Memorial Boys Hostel are available for the students. Total accommodation is for 240 students. Hygienic vegetarian food is served to all inmates of the hostel.

The College provides a Hostel facility for female students. The mess bill is on the dividing system. The hostilities have facilities such as a gymnasium, and indoor games like Table Tennis, badminton, carom, etc.

The college has a well-established full-fledged library with more than 12,000 volumes of technical books, about various branches of engineering.

The college has a sports and student activity center for promoting co-curricular and extracurricular activities. The institution promotes the academic, athletic, and cultural capabilities of students by organizing technical exhibitions, literary competitions, interbranch sports tournaments, annual athletic meets, interbranch cultural competitions, and annual day celebrations. Attractive indoor and outdoor stadiums are the prime features of the beautiful campus.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The college has established full-fledged laboratories, and workshops for all departments as per the standards laid down by AICTE, New Delhi. The management has so far invested about 2 crores of rupees for procuring types of equipment for laboratories and workshops.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The Polytechnic runs full-fledged placement cells to assist the students in gaining employment. Reputed MNCs visit the polytechnic during the end of even semesters for campus selection.

It is said, “Innovation is the ability to see change as an opportunity - not a threat”. It is the human tendency to fear for change. But there is one section of the human race that will always welcome the change and accept the challenge which is the youth. Young minds if ignited with innovative thoughts definitely can create wonders. Probably we are being witness to the formation of the platform to ignite the enthusiastic young minds of SNMP. Probably if we ask ourselves what is the necessity of forming an Innovation club, another question arises can we survive without having such a platform in this competitive world

The college also provides extracurricular activities like NSS and NCC.
