Sofia Memorial B.Ed. College was established in the year 2015. The college is a Co-Educational college, affiliated to an institution approved by NCTE. It is located on a compact campus of 1 acre at Khairakandi, Beniagram, Farakka, Murshidabad, West Bengal. The college offers specialization in teacher education. Sofia Memorial B.Ed. College has 199 students enrolled and 16 faculty members, thus providing an optimum environment for learning and growth to aspiring educators. Presently, the institution is running two full-time courses: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).

There are several facilities at this college to make the students' learning resourceful. There is a well-stocked library that shall prove very helpful for the students during their academics.
