South Calcutta Law College is one of the prominent law institutes in legal education in Kolkata, founded in 1970. The admission process of South Calcutta Law College is mainly based on the entrance examinations conducted by the University of Calcutta. Admissions to the BA LLB course and BA LLB Hons course are made in line with the merit list prepared based on the entrance examination conducted by the University of Calcutta. Similarly, in the case of the LLM course, admission is done through an admission test conducted by the University of Calcutta itself. Through the process, the college ensures admission of students having a good aptitude for legal studies.
