South Delhi Polytechnic for Women, Delhi Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. This was to provide a safe and securely surrounded residence. It is fully equipped to accommodate 150 students. There are 50 air-cooled rooms and an outstanding feature is that a good percentage of them have attached bathrooms and toilets. There are spacious and elegant Dining Halls, with wrought-iron furniture. A unique feature is the personalized supervision of the Mess, to provide healthy and well-balanced meals. The Hostel has separate Visitors, a TV, and Lounge / Common Room. There are other optional intermittent recreational amenities like the Internet, Library, Table Tennis, and a Multi Gym. It would be pertinent to add that one set of rooms (on both floors) faces east, to the rising sun. The opposite set of rooms, face our leafy green campus.

The college always of course had an extensive collection of relevant and esoteric books. During Book Week, both Students, Staff, and other Benefactors have donated /contributed to the enormous repository. Their Display / Reading Space was however not utilized to the optimum, due to the earlier hard-pressed relative paucity of space.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has sports facilities for all students.
