SNIT Kollam Facilities

The Sree Narayana Institute of Technology, Kollam has a host of facilities that are offered to the college staff, teachers, and students. SNIT Kollam has separate hostel accommodations for boys and girls with all the basic amenities. The SNIT Kollam facilities also include a cafeteria, laboratories, an auditorium, a guest or waiting room, and a health centre with first aid services. The college is well connected with all modes of transport including buses which assures the quality of the fleet.

In case students or the teaching staff want to read in silence they can avail the services of a library inside the SNIT Kollam campus. The SNIT Kollam also arranges games and sports for the students which boosts their overall development.

I.T Infrastructure
The college Computer lab is supported by Five tower servers and 120 clients(Quad-core – Wipro, IBM) with state-of-the-art facilities such as Wi-Fi connectivity and multimedia. High-speed broadband connectivity helps students utilize Internet facilities to their maximum and join conference facilities worldwide. The student can make use of the lab facilities from 8.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. under the supervision of faculty members. The direct internet access service provides the students access to the information superhighway to grab the latest information on developments and trends the world over.
Cafeteria
The SNIT Kollam has a canteen facility for staff and students. Food is fresh and hygienically served to the students and staff members.
Auditorium
The college seminar hall is meant for conducting expert lectures by eminent persons from the industry as well as from other institutions of repute. There will be regular seminars of this kind organized at the convenience of the visiting dignitaries and should be attended by all the students of the respective disciplines. The hall will be made available to the students for their seminar presentations during the final year.
Wifi
The SNIT Kollam has a Wi-Fi facility for students and staff. Students who want to browse anything can use the college wifi.
