Degree wise Admission Process.

BA Programs: The college has BA programs with various specializations and honors courses for which merit at the 10+2 level usually determines admission. The college has a relatively high intake capacity of 2200 seats for BA programs.

B.Com: Admission into B.Com is very competitive, with 280 available seats. As a rule, selection is based on the merit of 10+2 results, especially for those having studied commerce or related subjects.

B.Sc Programs:

  1. B.Sc Non-Medical: 240 seats
  2. B.Sc Medical: 160 seats
  3. B.Sc Computer science: 80 seats
  4. B.Sc Biotechnology: 30 seats

Admissions are based on 10+2 results concerning relevant science subjects.

BCA: The college has 120 seats for the BCA program. Admission is usually based on 10+2 merit with mathematics or computer science as subjects.

M.Com: There are 80 seats available for M.Com. Generally, admissions are based on the merit of the bachelor's degree in commerce or related fields.

M.Sc Programs:

  1. M.Sc Mathematics: 60 seats
  2. M.Sc Information Technology: 45 seats
  3. M.Sc Zoology: 40 seats
  4. M.Sc Microbial Biotechnology: 40 seats
  5. M.Sc Biotechnology: 40 seats
  6. M.Sc Chemistry: 40 seats
  7. M.Sc Physics: 40 seats

In this case, as far as admissions are concerned in M.Sc programs in Zoology, Chemistry and Physics, admissions are based on the PG entrance test PU-CET (PG) conducted by Panjab University, Chandigarh, with the final merit determined by giving a weightage of 50 percent to the entrance score and 50 percent to the qualifying examination score.

MA Programs: This includes Economics, Sociology, Punjabi, and English, and the intake for each program is 60. The procedure of admission may vary in different cases, but generally relies on the results of the bachelor's degree in the subject concerned.

this college is very good at academics this college is just for studies I am studying bachelors of art with economics as I have keen interest in economics the curriculum is fully updated the study is theoretical rather than practical

Teachers for our course are well educated, qualified, and very helpful to every student. The teaching quality was also good, but because of the bad class environment, students can't feel comfortable to study.

Ranjeet, usually a minimum of 50% is required in your 12th aggregate for BBA or BCA. Students from any stream can apply for BBA or BCA.

You can surely go ahead with any of these courses with 60% marks in your 12th boards irrespective of your category.
