Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Amritsar provides various facilities to the students in the college. SGRDIMSR Amritsar has a Double Storey Library which has a seating capacity of approximately 150 students on each floor.

Sri Guru Ram Das Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Amritsar provides various indoor and outdoor games and sports facilities to the students in the college campus.

if i have completed my 10 from chandigarh and 11th 12th from punjab and have punjab domicile will I be eligible for state qoute in punjab for mbbs ?

Hello aspirant,

Yes, you will be eligible for state quota medical admissions in Punjab during Punjab NEET counseling.

The Punjab government has prescribed particular criteria for candidates to be marked under the Punjab domicile. If the candidate fulfills the below-mentioned criteria , then the domicile of Punjab state is attained.

Candidates who have studied in Punjab for a period of five years. Also, candidates who have studied for two years just before NEET.
Wards of employees of Punjab government who are posted in or outside the state or are working deputation having a minimum of three years service.
Children or wards of an employee of the Indian government posted in Chandigarh or Punjab for a period of three years
Wards or children of employees of any company of which the Punjab government holds a minimum of 20% stake.
Candidates residing outside Punjab on account of service with the Government of India
Children of pensioners of the Punjab government.
Children or ward of person who has settled in Punjab or has resided in Punjab for a minimum period of five years
Children of persons who have an immovable property in Punjab
