My college has all the required facilities like physical education, transport, canteen. The college building is in renovation. The labs have all the equipment but sometimes a faulty instrument makes its appearance but it will fixed as soon as possible. The only thing which I don't like about the college is there is no projector in the classrooms. The transport facility is really good and secure. There is also a library with lot of books.
I think the concepts taught in the class don't provide full knowledge on the course. Sometimes, few topics are not discussed properly due to time constraint. The faculty is not highly experienced but good when compared to the syllabus. The syllabus for us is not at all enough to face any competitive exam or prepare for a job. We need to gather information for other sources to become fit for any job.
Very less graduates get placements and that too of very less package i.e. 3lakhs per annum on an average. Though good companies visit our college, the packages offered are very less. Last year, the highest package one of my senior got was 4.2 lakh per annum and only 30 students were placed.
Though the education provided is not of higher standards, it is worthful when compared to the fees. My college fees is 75,000 per year. I feel it is really worthwhile to study here as we are taught basics which can be applied somewhere else.
One of my best moment in this college was the annual cultural fest where we can enjoy a lot. We get engaged in many cultural activities and co curricular activities also. Though the faculty is strict during classes, they are really friendly after class hours and motivate us a lot. My college is situated in lush green where the surrounding is too peaceful to create a perfect environment for studies. Security was not a concern at all here and the campus can handle any emergency.
There is not much time in the campus to spend with our friends. We get time only during fests or any other events. But college days are something which we cherish forever and I try to make my days as beautiful as I can.
Actually there are only two buildings where one of the building contains all the departmental offices, labs, classrooms and the other contains labs and classes. There were no advancements in our college till now but some constructions have been started to improve the infrastructure and facilities. There are 3 auditoriums with projectors and WiFi facility. The campus premises are kept neat and clean. We have an indoor stadium, cricket ground, volleyball court with a couch for each sport.
One cannot expect good education here. The faculty here are new and not so experienced. The curriculum is as per JNTU which is not so advanced. I feel we need to learn lots of other stuff in order to attend any campus placement drive or any core related interview. We are just taught the syllabus and we weren't taken on any of the industrial visits nor provide us an internship opportunity.
Being in first year, I haven't heard of placements but I cam to know that there are not much placements in my college and the highest package lies around five lakhs per annum. Only 10-15% of the students got placements and that too in some other fields like telecommunications etc. The college oragnises many practice sessions inorder to excel in an interview.
The college's fees is only 70,000 per year which is average in terms of money. I feel that the quality of education for such an amount of money is good and appreciable because we are taught atleast the concept part and our practical sessions go well.
I personally enjoy a lot because I made good friends but we are not given much opportunity to play sports and there is no importance to sports at all. Apart from that, seniors organise various programs where each of us is given an opportunity to perform. There is also a technical fest where workshops are conducted. The campus has lots of greenery and the guards ensure that we are always safe. The supporting staff respond very fast to any emergencies.
I had very high expectations before joining this college but after joining, I thought it was an average one. The faculty, environment, classes were average but I actively participated in cultural activities where I met many seniors and got a chance to interact with them.
