Hostels here great to live in. The hostel experience is really memorable for any student. All hostels have 24*7 Wi-Fi access and connectivity. Hostel mess food is also far then that of the other college. Also, the hostels are quite safe and secure from the perspective of a girl students.
The Faculty here is great. All the professors are highly educated and skilled. They are very punctual when it comes to lectures or assignment submissions. The courses here a bit tough, but they are worth studying. Though one may feel that Curriculum is outdated. Passing percentage in IIT Bombay is more.
Placements are the best; we all want to be looked at. Placements here are great and have been experiencing largely unaffected growth in package. The highest package offered in the institute is 1.5 crore+, and the average goes up to INR 21 LPA, which is gate number. Well qualified panel of teachers will teach you and you will get a lot of knowledge from them so try to contact a lot with them and get knowledge about the industry required skills. And develop yourself as a individual personality do try new things in college..
As a UG student you will get a decent package from IIT bombay , if you have developed some standard skills you can easily get 1 lpa Or off course more than that per month package. The placement for top branches is almost 90% and above...
All labs are furnished with up to date resources. If your research work needs something more, then your guide will acquire it for you in a short while. A hospital is present in campus. Several food joints in and out of campus. Labs and classrooms were amazing. Hostel rooms were a bit small but adequate. Dual rooms in the first year were more entertaining to be honest.
There are 3-4 regular faculty members. They all have Ph.D. from iits and foreign universities and extensive research background. Most of the faculty members at iitb have research interests in numerical and physical modelling. Both projectors and blackboard used for teaching. Student to teacher ratio is around 2. Course curriculum though new, is being regularly updated as per available resources
Everyone in my batch were placed. CS engineers from IITB are in great demand. Internships and research opportunities was overwhelming. Stipend was 15k. There is an amazing placement cell with students participating in the management of the placements actively. All in all, placements are next to guaranteed in and out of campus if you take this course in this college.

The infrastructure in-general is really nice. The labs are really high-tech. The department building looks a bit worn-down, but the facilities such as seminar rooms, library etc. Are really up to the mark. The old hostels have really small rooms, and they are in repair mode. The new hostels, however, are really nice. A mess is present in every hostel, and a canteen is present in almost every hostel. The sport facilities are really awesome. Both indoor and outdoor facilities are provided . There is a hospital inside the campus which provides free medical facility for every member.Infrastructure is well and good.
The faculty here is very well qualified, all of them being from well-reputed institutes .The teaching quality varies, some professors are really good teachers and some are not. However, every one of them is an excellent researcher. The curriculum provides you with strong theoretical fundamentals, and also provides opportunities for doing various projects. There are many professors here who work closely with the industry, and you can work with those professors to gain industry experience.professors are friendly with the students and with other staff members also.

Hello Ayush,
Yes, you can apply for admission to IIT Bombay or other IITs under the SC category even if you're from Karnataka and have only a caste certificate and domicile certificate. IITs typically require the caste certificate for reservation purposes, but the absence of a caste validity certificate may not disqualify you. However, it's essential to check the specific admission guidelines for the IITs you're interested in, as requirements can vary. You may also want to contact the IIT admissions office directly for clarification on your situation.
