Sri Padmavathi School of Pharmacy was established in 1997 at Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. SPSP has a totally diversified student body composition with undergraduates and postgraduates in the ratio of 65:35. The college has a very impressive faculty-to-student ratio with 52 dedicated teachers. In 3 degree levels, there are 6 courses at SPSP which possess expertise related to different dimensions of pharmaceutical education.
The institute features various modern facilities created to enrich the learning environment for students. The central library is housed in the Administrative block and is well equipped with a large collection of books, periodicals, and e-resources available through the DELNET facility. The library facility is available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is well staffed with qualified staff to help the students. The college also has well-ventilated and fully equipped laboratories with all the basic facilities, including gas, water, and electricity. They are all up to the standard of the council and following all the safety measures.
'SPSP has a wide range of courses ranging from undergraduate to postgraduate. The institute offers 6 full time courses at the under- graduate and postgraduate levels, viz B.Pharma, M.Pharma with specialisations in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, and Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharma.D and Pharma.D Post Baccalaureate. The approved intake of students for such courses come to 185. Recently in the current academic year, it had a total of 634 students enrolled in all the programmes offered put together.
Admission at SPSP The admission process varies from program to program at this institution. Admissions to first year B.Pharma and Pharma.D programmes are done through AP EAMCET counselling. The students willing to apply for admission in M.Pharma will get the selection based on their GPAT or AP PGECET scores. Similarly, the Pharma.D Post Baccalaureate program also considers GPAT or AP PGECET qualification requirements.

Degree-Wise Admission Process

M.Pharma: There are three specialist areas in which SPSP offers M.Pharma programs: Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, and Pharmaceutical Analysis. Each specialization has an approved intake of 15 students. Admission is based on GPAT or AP PGECET scores. Candidates holding a B.Pharma degree can apply.
Pharm.D: The 6-year Pharm.D program admits students through AP EAMCET counseling. The approved intake is 30 students. Candidates who have qualified in EAMCET (both in Bi.P.C. or M.P.C.) can apply for admission.
Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate: Of the 10-place allowance, 3 years are allotted for this program. Admission is based on GPAT or AP PGECET scores. B.Pharma graduates are allowed to apply.

From my experience this is one of the best college infrastructure in Tirupati. We have all facilities and resources. The college is fully gardened with various flower plants and trees. The College is greeny and lush. We have sports facility and tournaments are conducted. Overall college is well-maintained and kept clean. The canteen here have tasty and healthy food.
