Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science (SRCAS) was started in the year 1987-88 as an independent institution in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, known as an autonomous institution. The Shri Ramswaroop College of Agriculture Sciences is spread over an area of 16 acres, and in the NIRF 2024 college ranking, the college stands at 56th position in the overall category.

Generally, the admission process at SRCAS is most of the course based on merit only. However, for MBA programmes the admissions are granted through the TN-CET, known as the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test. The college recognises various standardised test scores, and for postgraduate students, TANCET is quite common. In the case of M.Phil. and Ph.D. candidates, they are selected based on the CET score conducted by Bharathiar University as well as their qualifying performance and an interview.

In the three-year courses, 117 of 297 undergraduate students were refunded. In postgraduate courses, 393 of 749 students undertaking two-year courses were provided with financial support.

Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science (SRCAS), Coimbatore, is a self-financing prestigious college that provides a number of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses. Most of the courses in the college have a merit-based admission procedure so that students who deserve it can join their desired programs.
The admission process of SRCAS generally starts in May-June for the August-September session. For Undergraduate Programs:

Degree wise Admission Process
B.Com: SRCAS provides 11 B.Com specializations, such as Professional Accounting, Computer Application, International Business, and Banking and Insurance. Admission is merit-based, i.e., on the marks secured by the candidate at 10+2.
B.Sc: The college provides 14 B.Sc courses, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Biotechnology, and Physics. Admission is based on merit on the marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying exam.
BCA: The college offers two BCA programmes, one being Google Certification-included. It is an admission on the basis of merit and has a sanctioned intake of 120 seats for the regular programme of BCA.
BBA: The two BBA programmes offered by SRCAS are topped by BBA Computer Application. Merit-based admission policy is followed and there is a sanctioned intake of 240 seats in the regular BBA programme.
M.Sc: There are five M.Sc courses, viz., Computer Science, Information Technology, and Biotechnology. Admission is usually based on the candidate's performance at the undergraduate level and may be followed by an entrance test or interview.
MBA: MBA course considers TANCET scores while admitting candidates. Shortlisted candidates may have to undergo other selection processes.
Ph.D: SRCAS has Ph.D programs in Computer Science, Commerce, Biotechnology, and Management Sciences. Admission through CET conducted by Bharathiar University, along with interview. Students having UGC NET/CSIR-NET/GATE qualification would be exempted from appearing for the CET.

Yes , campus is maintained neat . All facilities are available. This college all technology updated for better learning. But some parts of college don't have proper internet connection. College has wifi but they don't provide the password
