Srinivas Institute of Nursing Sciences was set up in the year 2003 in Mangalore and is one of the best nursing education college that is located in the state of Karnataka in India. This affiliated college, approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), is offering various nursing courses up to under graduate and post graduate degrees. Located in a spacious 7-acre main campus, the enrolment capacity of the institute is 194 students and it has a 19-teacher strength.

Srinivas Institute of Nursing Sciences boasts of delivering quality facilities to the students for improving their learning period. The college has a modern, built-up library that contains more than 3,138 books, 22 national and international journals; internet facilities and the PG section has a provision of 10 computers. As for the applicable practice, there are eight functional laboratories which deal with various specialisation areas of nursing: basics of nursing, community health nursing and maternity and child care. The classrooms are equipped with modern teaching facilities, including LCD projectors and overhead projectors in teaching-learning processes. On campus, students are accorded an on-campus health centre that has first aid facilities.
