The institute also conducts entrance test or interview in addition to academic merit.

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: This two-year course is provided for registered nurses who have done their General Nursing and Midwifery diploma. There are 40 seats available. The selection of the candidates depends upon their GNM program marks along with work experience, if any.

M.Sc Nursing- Srinivas Institute of Nursing Sciences offers postgraduate programs under the following specializations: Medical-Surgical Nursing, Obstetrics-Gynaecology Nursing, Paediatric Nursing, Community Health Nursing, and Psychiatric Nursing. Each program has 5 seats available except in Psychiatric Nursing which has only 4. The admission usually is based on the candidate's academic performance from B.Sc Nursing, which might include entrance test and interview.
