For B.Tech:

Degree wise Admission Process

B. Tech: Admission into B. Tech programs is determined on the merit of the candidate's performance in the SRMJEEE. There are several B. Tech programs offered at SRMIST-VDP, which include Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, where each takes in about 120 students. Other programs available include specialized ones such as B. Tech in Computer Science Engineering with Specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. For eligibility, one must qualify SRMJEEE after finishing their 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry.

MBA: Applicants for the MBA program at SRMIST-VDP are required to write the SRMJEEM since this serves as the admission test for the course. The MBA program offers specializations in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Operations, and Banking and Financial Services and has an overall intake of 240 seats. Based on their performance in the SRMJEEM, shortlisted candidates will be called for the final admission rounds.

M.Tech: M.Tech Programs offered by SRMIST-VDP are Computer Science and Engineering and VLSI Design. Admissions would mostly be on scores obtained in CEETA-PG. However, applicants with a valid GATE/TANCET score may be considered. The total intake for M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering is 12 seats.

MCA: It comprises a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) with an intake of 60 students. Admission for MCA is processed based on the institute criteria, which may include an entrance test and academic performance in the qualifying degree.

B.Sc and BCA: The Institute provides various undergraduate programs in science as well as computer applications, such as B.Sc in Visual Communication, Psychology, and Hotel and Catering Management, and BCA specializing in Data Science.
