Nice campus expert teaching
Great college
The buildings are equipped with solar panels, and there are numerous green spaces for students to relax and study. The laboratories and research centers are equipped with cutting-edge technology, and the library offers a vast array of resources. However, the campus is quite large, and getting from one end to the other can be time-consuming.

The dining facilities are good, but more vegetarian and vegan options would be appreciated by some students
We have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments.expect parking facilities. In class we room we have smart boards , wifi and all the classroom are air conditioner. Yes the living space and food are clean and hygienic.
I was pursuing my mba cuz of my personal interest. The quality of teaching was good . The curriculum was updated amd includea all the recent developments in the field. Study of business makes me job ready.
The quality of placement is not bad , average. The percentage of students were placed was 70% last year. The highest salary package was 12LPA for mba in finance and the average salary package was 6LPA. The placement process was quite good . Yes , college was supportive while placements
3,50,000 per year . No worth for 3,50,000 per year cuz the infrastructure is not too good for the money spent .
Campus is too small , the best was all classroom are air conditioner but very small campus no place to hangout inside the campus and very poor parking facilities. No activity for engaging students. Location were college placed was too good , it's was placed in the middle of the city , yes it can handle the emergencies
It's was an average college and campus when compared to SRM kattankulathur campus. If you want to join the college were placed in the middle of the city , the. Srm vadapalani would be the best choice for you .
the college campus is aesthetically designed with lush green lawns and well maintained gardens. this not only adds to the visual appeal but also provides a peaceful ambiance for students to relax and rejuvenate
one of the highlights of srm is its remarkable library. boasting an extensive collection of books journals and research papers the library caters to diverse interests and academic needs of students . srm institute of technolgy has the best labs in ghaziabad.
the placement cell maintains strong ties with leading companies across industries ensuring a wide range of job oppurtunities for students. the regular campus recruitment drives attract renowned companies .
while srm provides excellent value for money there is always room for improvement . the college could focus more on providing scholarships and financial aid options to deserving students making education accesible to all .
as a student of srm i can confidently say that the college offers a vibrant and enriching campus life. the college provides a plethora of opportunities for students to engage in various activities and make the most out of their college .
Infrastructure is pretty as per the college concern. FET department is doing great!✓Being a Northeastern inhabitant it was a tough call for me joining SRM but trust me SRM Vadapalani has never disappointed me in any concern till now although everyone struggles while switching states so it's obvious life isn't that easy . But I bet you will love the environment of this campus. ✓Fests, professional events, webinars, workshops, hackathons are endless and quite worthy. ✓Good indoor sports facilities
This Campus is known for its academic value. Truly dedicated professors with utmost mindset for the students advancement. ✓The FET Faculty deserves A++ ratings for their tireless efforts and dedication for their students and sharing a helping hand many a times without any hesitation. ✓Faculty to student ratio is comparatively better than other colleges ✓Ragging ,one of the top notch concern of an Engineering college has no place over here(Ragging free campus).
I am in 2nd year . As per my knowledge my seniors are getting placed in both IT as well as core companies . But that completely depends on students capability. SRM will give you the opportunity, you need to grab it.
Ya , it costs abit high. But afterall its a private college so it cool. Check university website for fee structure.
It's good for any kind of students introvert ,extrovert, sports oriented, programming oriented etc.
You will get the exposure of the city studying here.
The college is considered to be one of the top 5 deemed university college . They have necessary facilities and equipments. But it's a small campus compared to other SRM campuses. It is air conditioned campus and has WiFi connection all over the building which students can use it . They provide hostel facilties . And they maintain good hygiene
They have update the syllabus and the department of ECE has specialization as well we can choose between the specialization. Even though the syllabus is updated still the student must develop some recent technological skills in order to get placed
The placement is conducted where all the students from all campus participate . It's difficult to get placed in core than software companies . The recruiters will give more placements to students from the main campus which is situated katangalathur. The package is decent depending upon the company .
It is around 1,75,000 for students who have written entrance or else 2L FOR MANAGEMENT SEAT. But if u ask it is worth it is not because compared to other students from colleges pay same amount with food and transport
The college has good infrastructure, facilities and equipment such as air conditioned classrooms, and necessary lab equipment. The places the college falls short on are the regular maintenance of lab equipment, the traditional use of blackboards in an air-conditioned room, elevator traffic and poorly maintained sanitation areas. The living spaces are clean and the food is hygienic in the college canteen. The WiFi system is redundant as most students prefer data over WiFi citing privacy concerns.
I am pursuing a baccalaureate degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The other undergraduate courses the college offers are Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science Engineering. The curriculum is updated occasionally, not as frequently as the grading system is updated. The teaching capabilities depend wholly on the staff-person, whose knowledge being communicated is hindered by lack of fluency in the English Language.
I have not yet completed my baccalaureate so I do not think I am qualified to write about placements. Based on hearsay, I would say that the placements are good. Yet again, the quality of placement you get totally depends on how knowledgeable and how communicable you are.
My course costs around 1,75,000 INR annually. I feel I am getting my money's worth because this campus has relatively better faculty and a studious atmosphere than the other two campuses.
Generally speaking, the college is well connected in terms of transport and is situated in the heart of Chennai. The worst feature will be the fact that the entire college is just a five-story building with no playground.
No play ground or spacious campus. Canteen food is average but lacks variety in food. Some foods are very oily and no great choice for healthy food. Sufficient course books are available in library but students cannot issue more than 3 books at a time. Campus wifi is poor and nobody can connect to it. Yoga mats are poorly maintained. AC is there in all classrooms. Projectors are available in all classrooms for students. Laptops are allowed in college but not during class. Not very strict campus.
The coursework has decent coverage of required engineering topics but does not involve a lot of critical and logical thinking. Problematic papers are fewer and application oriented papers are fewer compared to descriptive type or derivation type. The electives offered are very theoretical and involve less of hands on arduino projects or hands on project work. The faculties teach well from University exam perspective but students have to do research and project on their own and figure out interns
Not many students get placed in core companies. I am unsure about core companies coming for placements. Most people get placed in IT companies especially mass recruiters. Many students plan to go abroad for higher studies or write competitive exams to get placed with better packages. Companies like Intel and Microsoft are a dream to be placed in and I haven't heard any of my seniors getting placed in any of these companies. Core companies are very few so not many core options.
Costs around 1 lakh 75 thousand per year. I feel that it's fairly justified but would be happier if better core companies came for campus placements and better campus facilities would be available for students. I would also like if we had more club activities and project activities for those who are interested. For all fests or events happening in college, students are forced to pay a small amount for a T shirt or a seminar which should not be compulsory. Especially juniors are forced to pay .
The building is claustrophobic. The strength is less and not many cultural activities happen. Teachers are very supportive in academics but mostly with respect to university syllabus and exams. Extra curricular activities are few. The campus is well located and it's in the heart of the city. There is SIMS hospital for emergencies, good transport facilities.
If you are someone who is an extrovert and into cultural activities it's not a place for you.
Hi candidate,
T he cutoff marks depends on many factors like:
As you have mentioned only your cast, so it is difficult to query your doubt with the best way possible.
ECE stands for Electronics and Communication Engineering is a field of engineering where students are taught with the working electrical components and there practical implimentation.
However, in background you can also practice data structures and certain computer science courses to have a chance for working in IT industry.
Thank you!
Hello Aspirant,
If you have option between VIT Vellore and SRM , go for VIT anytime. It has better infrastructure, teaching staff and so many more opportunity. Many super dream company visit VIT for placement. The highest package for M.Tech goes upto 15-16 lakh. Also the environment is reall good there .
