SSD Women's Institute of Technology, Bathinda is a college for women who believes in the principle of learning by doing. SSD Women's Institute of Technology, Bathinda was founded by SSD Sabha in 1998 to provide better education for girls. The campus is spread across 2 acres of land and provides all infrastructure facilities to its students. SSD Women's Institute of Technology, Bathinda facilities includes well equipped computer labs, ultra modern conference hall, girls hostel, playgrounds, auditorium, library, gym, transportation and cafeteria facilities for its students. The college also has an alumni cell whose purpose is to stimulate stronger connections between alumni, the community, and the organisation.

Girls Hostel
The college provides hostel facilities with various useful amenities such as tasty and hygienic food, power supply, geysers, washing machines, water cooler with RO system. Also there is a bank facility for girls in the institute. The mobile phones are allowed only with the written permission of parents in the hostel premises.
Medical/Hospital
The college has a health centre with a first aid facility for its students and staff members in the case of any emergency and health related issues.
Gym
The college has gym facilities for its students with all necessary machines and equipment for better workout.
Library
The college has a library with a collection of so many books. The girls can also visit the main library which has books with rare encyclopaedias, latest periodicals and magazines.

The college also provides sports facilities to its students for both indoor and outdoor games. The playground is also there which is used to play outdoor games and for athletes to meet.

The college has hi tech advanced computer labs and the institution also provides laptops to students for their lab work.

The college has a canteen facility for its students and staff members which serves tasty and hygienic food at moderate rate. The cafeteria is located between the hostel and the main building of the college.

The college has a well equipped auditorium with proper music systems which is used to conduct various events, seminars, annual functions, debates, quiz competitions, presentations, and other cultural activities.

The college has a bus facility for its students and staff members. There is a regular and convenient public transport service available since the college is located close to Tinkoni, on the G.T. Road (Goniana Road).

Training and Placement Cell
The Placement Cell remains active throughout the year. The placement cell conducts to practical training, placement drives and Mega Job Fest for the students with the objective of their career guidance to explore them in different fields.
