24 MonthsMaster of Pharmacy (M.Pharma) in Pharmaceutics is a two-year full-time program that is the postgraduate level in pharmacy education course offered by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur, and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
50% of marks should be secured in the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) program.
For admission to the M.Pharm, the State Government, conducts an entrance exam called APPGECET every year in the month of May/ June. The students are given a ranking based on the marks obtained in the test. Admissions are conducted by the Convenor APPGECET in a systematic manner by means of web counseling, based on the rank obtained in GPAT and for the remaining seats based on the APPGECET rank. Thus opportunity is given to the student to choose the course specialisation and college. 70% of seats are filled through the GPAT and APPGECET ranks by the Convener and 30% of seats are filled by the management, based on the merit at APPGECET / B.Pharm as per the State government-prescribed rules from time to time.
