St John's medical college has best patient exposure for MPT

MPT Neurological Science - Batch of 2025-01-01
    3

    Academics

Neuro MPT classes are well tailored and the syllabus are covered on time . Self directed learning , didactics , case presentations and journal Clubs are included in the syllabus to mould the PGs into good clinicians as well as researchers , on the top of this , PGs are assigned to take lectures for UG students which imparts teaching skills .

    College Infra

I started my Journey in St John's medical college as a MPT Neuro PG since 2023 . In St Johns , Neuro PT dept go hand in hand with PMR dept . We rehabilitate patients from neurology , neuro surgery and PMR department . We get to treat patients with different varieties of neurological disorders . We have a separate Neuro Rehab room for OPD patients. Patient exposure wise St Johns is the best college in Bangalore for MPT neuro program , but when it comes to resources , johns have to improve as Neuro- rehab always prioritise evidence based practice and advancement in technologies to ease the work load of the therapist which results in betterment of patients .

    Campus Life

Inter department rivalry is common here , also some of the staffs are not well trained enough to guide PGs in terms of research. Support from the staffs and teachers have pathetic here as most of the staffs are BPT graduate who hates PGs and teachers are partial towards South Indians especially Keralites

    Placements

Our immediate seniors had an opportunity to give interview for a community based organisation but they offered low salary package. This was the only placement program which happened so far in John's for PG graduates . The college is still working on it

    Value For Money

For Neuro MPT program , Johns is a value for money , but if you are into sports or CBR field , I would n't suggest Johns as Community postings are not that great

Bsc. Anaesthesia Technology. The curriculum is always updated and the teaching process also includes recent developments in our fields and it is quite impressive how they value each component in the curriculum and this makes us "job ready"

    College Infra

The classes are well equipped with WiFi and other equipments. The infrastructure is very good and it is well maintained. The facilities are well suited for a MBBS student, nursing students as well as paramedical students

    Placements

Considering this as a medical college.. The paramedical placements are very good. There has always been very good responses from the gulf countries as well as European countries. The placement process was very easy and pleasant

    Value For Money

Yes the fees has always been less compared to any other colleges in India.
