Diploma in Education (D.Ed) is a two-year full-time diploma program offered by The State Council of Educational Research and Training, Thiruvananthapuram, and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

Eligibility Criteria

The Candidates who have obtained 50% in the Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent are eligible to apply. Candidate should not have taken more than three chances to pass the Higher Secondary Examination. Relaxations stipulated by the Govt are applicable to candidates with reservations. Of the total seats 40% is reserved for science,40% for Humanities, and 20% for Commerce.

Admission Details

Admission shall be on merit basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the State Government/UT administration and the University.
