Degree-wise Admission Process
GNMI General Nursing and Midwifery: St. Mother Teresa School of Nursing is imparting three years full-time course. The course will give all the theoretical as well as practical trainings in general nursing and midwifery. The admissions for GNM are generally expected to be given to those students who performed a good performance in their 10+2 examinations based on science streams.
ANM (Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery): It is a two years full time course that teaches basic nursing and midwifery skills. The eligibility for this course is generally 10+2, although some institutes take 10th passed candidates as well. Admission process to ANM course may be merit-based or an institute-level entrance test.
Both classes are campus-based and are designed in such a manner that students can be fully knowledgeable about the theoretical aspects of nursing as well as practical skills out in the field. The cumulative number of enrollments in both classes is 186 students, which translates to a high level of training of nurses within the institution.
