St Mother Teresa School of Nursing was established in the year 2007 at Prayagraj, U P India as a Private nursing college which exclusively focuses on providing study of nursing in Uttar Pradesh. It is a co-educational school situated on 220-K, Meera Patti Dhoomanganj and the school present over critically has just 0.22 acre land. Approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), the school offers two full-time nursing programmes: GNM and ANM are two important qualifications in nursing and midwifery such as General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM). The institute has an overall student capacity of 186 and has a faculty of 22 people so as to maintain a good student teacher ration to provide better education opportunities.

St Mother Teresa School of Nursing has dedicated and well equipped facilities that supplement education and personal growth of the learners. In the middle of these comforts is a library that contain collections of more than 1000 books and references from international book publishers. It also has a section containing current nursing journals and online resources to help student understand modern practices in nursing. It has a spacious auditorium well-equipped with the general requirement of technologies such as LCD projectors and sound equipment for academic and cultural shows, drama, and cultural programmes. Extra-curricular activities form a very significant part of the institute; they organise different competitions, cultural programmes, sports activities and toys and games round the academic session to achieve a balanced growth of the students.

The hostel facility separately for boys and girls is available for those students who need some sort of a accommodation. These hostels provide quality living conditions while in school and complement students academic undertaking away from home. Other facilities are; a food facility for lunch, a clinic for treatment of minor ailments, and transport for students and employees respectively. The institute also has a guest or waiting area for the visiting faculty and students and their relatives to show that no one is left out in any way.

St. Mother Teresa School of Nursing offers two primary nursing courses: these being the three-year General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) programme and the two years Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM) programme. Graduate programmes in John Hopkins University are two full-time, campus based course offering basic theoretical knowledge and practical training in nursing. The total number of students that will admitted into both programmes is 186, the institute has adopted the policy of admitting many students per class to enhance adequate coverage. These entry points though do not specify the calendar time for the particular admissions but the school possibly adheres to the academic calendar for nursing courses across the India.
