STXAVIERSTN Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college provides first aid facilities and health centres for students and staff. The college has a well-equipped health centre which provides medical facilities at an affordable rate. 

STXAVIERSTN provides a well-stocked library facility with a wide range of books, journals, periodicals, e-books, e-journals, video lessons and audio documents. The college also provides an Integrated library management system and library automation with RFID technology.

The college provides both indoor and outdoor sports facilities for students. The college has a separate department of physical education and sports which helps students in maintaining physical fitness and prepares them for participation in various sports activities. 

The ICT facilities at St Xavier's College, Palayamkottai consist of an internet lab, media lab, media centre and 5 computer centres. The college has high-speed internet connectivity with 24 WiFi access points and enterprise resource planning (ERP).

The college provides cafeteria facilities for students, faculty and staff members. The St Xavier's College, Palayamkottai cafeteria serves fresh and healthy food at an affordable price.  

The college has a spacious and well-maintained auditorium. Pope Francis Auditorium has a seating capacity of 3000 persons and is used for conducting educational and cultural events.

Alumni Association is as old although in the early years it functioned with the name Old Boys' Association. Today, the Alumni Association of St.Xavier's College, Palayamkottai has about 250 life members on its role and has a Constitution of its own. It has also Chapters at important towns like Tuticorin, Nagercoil and Kovilpatti. It holds regularly Annual General Body meetings around April to have its accounts passed by the house. Invariably a Newsletter is also released during the AGB meeting.

The college has Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.

The college has a well-equipped internet lab for students and staff members. The college also has a language lab with 65 computers, DVD ROM drive and headphones attached to the computer.
