St Xavier's PG College, Jaipur Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

St. Xavier's PG College, Jaipur, has a simple and merit-based admission procedure for undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses. The process of admission at St. Xavier's PG College is meant to select the most deserving candidates on the basis of academic performance in previous examinations. Generally, the college starts admission a few months in advance to the academic year.  Undergraduate programs (BA, B.Sc, and B.Com): Basic eligibility is the successful completion of 10+2 from a recognized board. For postgraduate programs such as MA in Geography, candidates must have completed their bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university. This will ensure that students who can perform very well at their studies at home have the chance of studying their desired courses at the college.

Application Process

The application process at St. Xavier's PG College, Jaipur makes an attempt to make it direct and open to all qualified applicants. A stepwise approach to the application process is given below:

1. Visit the official website: Prospective students should regularly check the college website for admission notifications and updates.

2. Download the application form: Candidates will be able to download the application form from the college website; it will be made available once admissions open or may be obtained from the college admission office.

3. Fill out the application form: Fill all the necessary details in the application form carefully. Ensure that all the information provided is accurate and up to date.

4. Attach required documents: Along with the completed application form, candidates need to attach self-attested copies of the following documents:

• Mark sheets of the qualifying examination (10+2 for UG courses, Bachelor's degree for PG courses)
• Pass certificate of the qualifying examination
• Character certificate from the last attended institution
• Migration certificate (if applicable)
• Caste certificate (if applying under a reserved category)
• Recent passport-size photographs

5. Submit the application: Complete an application form along with the required documents and submit it to the college admission office on or before the last date.

6. Merit list publication: The merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. This merit list will be displayed on the college notice board and may be published on the website also.

7. Verification of Documents: Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification. During this process, bring all original documents to be verified.

8. Payment of Fees: After the successful verification of documents, admission fees would have to be paid by the candidate, to secure the seat.

Degree wise Admission Process

BA: Approved opening number for Bachelor of Arts at St. Xavier's PG College is 180 seats. Admission is based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2). The college has courses under its BA program from which students can choose the ones they want to combine.

B.Sc: This graduate program has an authorized intake of 60 seats. All candidates who have completed their 10+2 with science subjects are eligible to apply. Admission into the program is based on merit from the qualifying examination.

B.Com: The Bachelor of Commerce program also has an approved intake of 60 seats. The deserving candidates for admission into this program are the students who completed their 10+2 in Commerce or equivalent subjects. The merit of the qualifying examination is also considered for selection.

MA Geography: This postgraduate program allows an intake of 40 students. Students having the Bachelor's degree with Geography as one subject can apply. Merit will be based on qualifying examination at the undergraduate level.
