Stani Memorial College of Engineering and Technology (SMCET) was set up in 2000 and is an affiliate of Rajasthan University College situated in Jaipur, India. Located in a 120 acre complex, SMCET provides the approval technical education of AICTE, All India Council for Technical Education, offering various engineering courses. The above institute takes a total of 390 students and has 48 members of staff on its payroll. Under one degree programme, SMCET offers 5 courses which are mostly related to engineering disciplines. Namely these are full-time B.Tech courses in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and communication engineering, Mechanical and Civil Engineering It also has lateral entry for diploma holder.

Stani Memorial College of Engineering and Technology has modern amenities infrastructural facilities that will complement the academic needs of the students and help them develop their personalities too. Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls are available on campus They have single, double and triple sharing basis are available. These hostels provide facilities for recreation and are managed by competent warden and caretakers. About fitness, the college boasts full equipped gym, weight lifting areas and professional trainers and access to basic hospital services. In all, the institute teaches 5 courses and all the courses are B.Tech full time. The following are five central disciplines – Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering admitting 60 students every year, except the Electronics and Communication stream which admits 30 students. Also, in these branches, diploma holders are accommodated through lateral entry at SMCET and there are 12 seats for both Electronics and Communication branches each but Electronics constitutes 6 seats. The universities total approved intake for all the courses is 390 students. It is however not clear the number of graduates for the latest year, but the core focus of the college that offers practical education and skills in line with the market trends ensures that students dropout with an overall good prospect of embracing a good career in engineering.

Admission to SMCET is compatible with AICTE guidelines and is mainly focused on JEE-Main scores and the REAP system. First year B.Tech eligibility includes pass in 12th standard with 45% aggregate marks with Mathematics, Physics as mandatory subjects and any one of Chemistry/Computer Science /Bio-Technology/ Biology. It also has a system of direct admission into second year B.Tech programmes for diploma candidates and B.Sc. graduates, 20% extra seats in all disciplines being available in this stream. All these admissions are regulated through the government centralised counselling process carried out by the admission coordination committee. Concerning students financing, SMCET understands the fact that students need financial assistance and offer scholarships but the details are not mentioned.
