 Stani Memorial College of Engineering and Technology (SMCET), Jaipur, and follows a general admission procedure specified by AICTE. The institute offers B.Tech programs in various engineering branches, and the students are admitted based on their performance in a national-level entrance test. SMCET accepts Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Main) scores, and the students are admitted through the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP). Application Process

The application process for the admission to B.Tech programs at SMCET comprises the following steps:

1. Appearance in JEE-Main conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

2. Registration on the official REAP portal for the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process.

3. Online application form filling with correct personal and academic information.

4. Uploading vital documents:

• 10th and 12th mark sheets
• JEE-Main score card
• Category certificate (if applicable)
• Domicile certificate (if applicable)
• Recent passport-size photograph
• Scanned signature

5. Payment of the application fee published by REAP.

6. Submission of the duly filled application form and waiting for the merit list.

Degree wise Admission Process

Admission to the B.Tech courses at SMCET took place in five disciplines: Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electronics & Communication Engineering. Admission in all these B.Tech programs relies primarily on the JEE-Main scores for placement through REAP counseling. Each B.Tech program, except for Electronics and Communication Engineering, admits 60 students. The Electronics and Communication Engineering program has only 30 seats.

All B.Tech candidates must be eligible. Thus,

• Must have 45% in aggregate at 12th standard (Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Computer Science/ Bio-Technology/Biology).
• Must have a valid JEE-Main score.
• The candidate must have participated in the REAP Counseling.

Lateral Entry to B.Tech (2nd Year):

• For Diploma holders and B.Sc. graduates
• 20% extra vacant seats in each discipline
• Minimum 45% mark in aggregate in diploma or B.Sc. from a recognized institute
