State Lal Bahadur Shastri Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Prayagraj, is one of the few centers that impart quality homeopathic education. The college, recognized by the Central Council of Homeopathy, has a meticulously structured admission process for identifying the most deserving candidate for admission to its programs. The college offers two main courses: Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) and MD Materia Medica, both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in homeopathy.
For BHMS admission, the college considers the NEET UG score. This is a natural entrance exam, ensuring that it only selects those with a firm foundation in science and true zeal for homeopathic medicine. As regards admission into MDMateria Medica, candidates will have to qualify the AIA PGET.
Application Process
The application process for State Lal Bahadur Shastri Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Prayagraj, varies for undergraduate and postgraduate programs:
For BHMS:
1. Candidates to appear in NEET UG exam organized by National Testing Agency (NTA).
2. Candidates should qualify NEET UG with a cutoff score.
3. Register for the state counseling process (as the college is a state institution).
4. Fill in the choice of college and course during the counseling.
5. Report to college for document verification and admission formalities if allotted seat.
For MD Materia Medica:
1. AIAPGET examination needs to be taken.
2. AIAPGET qualifications must be obtained seriously with a cut-off score.
3. Enrollment into AYUSH admissions counseling.
4. Enter in the counseling session and select the college and course.
5. Complete the admission process at the college if a seat has been favored to them.
Degree-wise Admission Process
Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS): It is a six-year undergraduate course under which 125 candidates are admitted every year. The student should have completed 10+2 (intermediate) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English and have secured a minimum of 50 percent. Candidates should qualify in the NEET UG examination. The selection is on the basis of the NEET UG score through counseling as per government provisions.
MD Materia Medica: This is a three-year full-time postgraduate course having an intake of 13 students. The eligibility criterion is a BHMS degree from a recognized institution. Admission to the MD program is based on the performance of the candidate in the AIAPGET. The selection process consists of counseling based on the score in AIAPGET.

As it's a government college teachers are not serious about student's future . They don't take regular classes quality of teaching is good but classes are not regular, if classes are regular then it will be very good experience for me teachers are very good and experienced and have good knowledge about teaching, teachers are Cooperative and polite with students
The quality of teaching is very good and the teachers are well versed with the new technology with experience of many years in the teaching field and their respective subjects. The curriculum in the college is updated regularly whenever it is needed and the course curriculum also includes the recent developments in the various feilds. The course taught in the college is made easy for the students convenience.

All india Ayush counselling for admission in BAMS and BHMS usually start after the completion of AIQ MBBS BDS counselling. So most probably it will start in mid November or last November this year.
Even state counselling start after the completion of MBBS BDS admission in state quota counselling. So almost in state also it will happen in November.
