Surya College of Education, Tohana Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Surya College of Education, Tohana, AD, is one of the most well-founded institutions in teacher education situated in VPO Baliala, Tehsil Tohana, and District Fatehabad, Haryana. The college is recognized by NCTE, and it offers various teacher education programs.  Admissions at Surya College of Education are purely merit-based and have a very fair and transparent procedure in selecting students. The B.Ed college primarily uses the marks obtained in the qualifying or entrance examination for admission. The mode of selection may also include additional procedures as per policies framed by the State Government of Haryana and the University to which it is affiliated.

All candidates shall be admitted according to the merit prepared from the qualifying examination or the entrance examination scores for all the programs run at the college site-B.Ed, M.Ed, and D.El.Ed. Admission to the college will also follow the policies of admission set by the State Government of Haryana and the affiliated university.

Application Process

1. Check Eligibility: Confirm whether eligibility is met regarding the selected program (B.Ed, M.Ed, or D.El.Ed) under the eligibility determinants set by the college and/or the affiliated university.

2. Entrance Examination: If applicable, sit for an entrance examination as prescribed by the State Government or the University of the selected program.

4. Submission of Document: At this stage, candidates need to submit all required documents i.e. mark sheets of qualifying examinations, entrance exam scores (if applicable), and all other certificates as specified by the college.

5. Merit List: As per the admission policy, the college will prepare a merit list based on qualifying examination/ entrance exam performance.

6. Counselling and Admission: The selected candidates may be called for counseling to choose their desired course and complete the admission formalities.

7. Fee Payment: Once selected, candidates have to pay the prescribed fees for confirmation of admission.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed: The B.Ed program of Surya College of Education has an approved intake of 200 seats. Admission to the B.Ed course is based on the merit of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination. The college may also consider any other selection process as per the policy of the State Government/UT administration and the University.

M.Ed: The M.Ed course adopts the same criteria as that of B.Ed. Its approved intake is expected at 50. Candidates are selected according to their performance in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination. The college follows the selection procedure mentioned by the State Government/UT administration and the University.

D.El.Ed: The D.El.Ed program in Surya College of Education has a sanctioned 50 seat intake. The admission to this course is also merit-based, considering the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination. The selection process adheres to the policies of the State Government/UT administration.
