Susmita College of Education, Nadia started in the year 2016. It is almost a fledgling institution whose aim and mission have been to take care of the future of education. Located in Bahirgachhi village in the Nadia district of West Bengal, the co-educational college sprawls on 1 acres campus area. This is an affiliated college, and thereby, it enjoys working terms under the umbrella of a bigger university that ensures the institution sticks to standardized educational norms. The institution has also obtained sanctions from the National Council for Teacher Education, thereby justifying its mission for excelling in the programs of teacher training.

Admissions to the Susmita College of Education shall be strictly based on merit concerning the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or Entrance Examination. For a B.Ed course, admissions are done as per the state government, UT administration, and affiliated university. For D.El.Ed course admission, it will be on similar lines, based on guidelines from the state government.
